    California ranks #1 but ranked #44 on per capita. I think that is pretty good.

    Except California tax payers are being fleeced.. ;) I mean we are basically supporting a lot of other state's earmarks because we pay more than what we get back, at least in earmarks.. But i do believe overall Californians pay more in taxes but get less back into the state from federal dollars.. and other states want to mock us.. :)

    Alaskans get paid a yearly amount (Around 1000$) to live in alaska, so believe me they aint suffering.Superhero!
