So it was 7:30am and everyone was walking towards the time clock to punch out after the awards ceremony had finished. I asked a co-worker, "Now that I have this award... what the hell do I do with it?" Fellow salesman says, "Use it as a target!" WHAT A GENIUS!! Here are the results. Here is the firearm for use in this adventure! A Stag Arms AR-15 Model 1 chambered in .223/5.56. It's also known to you Counter-Strike or COD4 players as the M4A1 only this is more of a civilian version that is only semi-automatic as the distribution of fully-automatic firearms in the United States was banned in 1986. The stock is changed to a Magpul CTR and handguard is a free-floated Daniel Defense 7.0 Carbine Omega Rail. The optics is a Sightmark Aimpoint Clone Red Dot Sight with a 5 MOA on a GG&G cantilever mount. Co-witnesses perfectly with irons. The bullet used is Black Hills 55 grain jacketed hollow point from the blue box.

I wanted to see if I could get a tight grouping but the plaque did NOT last long... as you will see. Name and location MSPaint sprayed out to protect my awesome identity. Yes I still work there =D.

Halfway on my way back to the spot. The plaque is on the ground beside that post with the three white pieces of paper.

The 66 yard or 200 foot shooting position. Yes it's still beside the post with the 3 pieces of paper. I'm no ultimate sharpshooter it took a few tries =D.

As it laid on the ground after shooting it, I thought I was looking at the back of the plaque, but I noticed I couldn't see the slots in it for hanging it on the wall... it was the front and the foil part of the plaque had blown at 15 feet away from the spot! The bullet had hit the rock and ricocheted back out! Sweet!

Notice the fragmentation! As soon as the bullet passed through the foil and wood, it hit the rock and shattered causing shrapnel to fly into the back of the plaque! This is a part of the reason why our U.S. military uses this round as it will tumble and fragment for being so small. After passing through layers of clothing/denim, it will enter flesh and shatter causing a wound much greater than the original .223 inch diameter of the bullet.
