I've been noticing that people in this country have really gone off the deep end over the last 10-15 yrs. Everything they do in life most be related too more debt and/or problems. It is almost like people live to work instead of the other way around. Why have such large families? Big houses? Big cars? When having small versions of all these things bring more freedom to life and more options? Have people in this country forgotten how to live? Must everything Americans do be related to debt. stress and more problems?

You are right. I agree with you 100%. I think its the fact that human nature there is a constant need to out due the next guy. It's pathetic. Two thirds of the world's population doesn't have 35 cents to their name and over here in america you have all those stupid bank and motor company CEOs asking for bailouts. I have been in the situations of debt but I know that it will pass and not to stress out. Life can only get better if you believe it will and learn from your mistakes.

If we lived in a society where we all lived in cabins, I'd break free and build my Austin Chateau. I love it that much. But I'm having it transported or rebuilt here in AZ. I like Austin a little but not enough to have my house there.Superhero!

Americans are trained from Birth to be scared about everything. They are trained to buy everything they don't need. It's just the way america is. Corporations have brainwashed america to act like this.http://tyban81.mybrute.com

Actually I think it's the media that drives the fear and the consumption. The media is controlled by the government so I guess this all goes back to them.Superhero!

I agree wholeheartedly. Corporations and Religion both play a part in steering the media through advertising. Look at Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. Drew Carey plays it best.

See I am going to beat all of you with housing it is going to be set somewhere in canada where land is only $140 per acre avg and my house will be made of recycled wood from derelict houses. The way I will get this stuff to the property is a 1960 deuce and a half 6x6 transport truck which can be had for about $5000 a used or rented backhoe for the septic tank(s) and string up some power remove a couple truckloads of trees to make a run way get a steam roller to pack down the dirt and a cessna costs about 15k I think I will have a house sitting on about 650 acres of land with an airstrip vehicles and plane for less than 120k. If global warming continues canada will start looking very nice to alot of people. Beat that no need to take out a loan or mortgage just buy it cash at my current rate of income i will be able to do this in less than 4 years.Looking for my head ............... yeah the eight valve one yeah ....
