    Does Fry's offer a buy back or trade in program like Best Buy? I have a really old computer and I want to trade it in for a new one. Thanks in advance.

    There are trade in sites like http://www.gazelle.com/ which will appraise a product quickly for a fair price and send you a shipping label for free shipping. Costco members will get a few bucks more http://costco.gazelle.com/

    For everyone laughing at fry's for not having a buyback program realize that he said that he has a "really old computer". As in, didn't buy it when best buy started the buy back program several months ago. As in, didn't pay the extra "buy back" fee ($50 on computers) to get at best 50% back (if within 6 months old), or 20% (18-24 months old).

    So your $1200 computer gets bought back for $600 at 6 months, - $50 = $550. 7 months? $480-$50 = $430.

    Caring about the customers? Really? Go fuck yourselves.
