One of the weekly e-mail newsletters I receive deals with employment/HR related issues. One of the articles this week advises that the DOL has been increasing their unannounced visits to employers to investigate possible wage and hour violations.
Since this seems to be an ongoing issue with Fry's (i.e. commission only salespersons having to do stocking, schematics, etc., Black Friday issues, etc.), the best thing that Fry's employees could do would be to let the DOL know and ask them to make an unannounced visit. Even to have them visit on Black Friday.
