What do you all think about the idea that district 2 DDMs are walking M.O.P.A.R. in district 1 stores? It's happening now in mine, and I think its a great idea. While I know my DDM, this has given me a chance to get to know the D2 DDM for my department, and also one of the buyers from my department. We got a lot of really good feedback, and while some of it is area-sensitive (I'm sorry, but in Renton it rains 350/365 days out of the year, so AC's don't sell that well) a lot of it really helps me to see my store in a new light, and take steps to improve it further. It's nice to have a fresh set of eyes, and it's nice to know that the DDM of D2 is actually a nice person, and not just a name.The only thing worse than ignorance is stupidity.

Constructive? I don't think that's possible. Helpful, maybe, but we don't encounter new problems. Just old ones, over and over again.
