It's been a long while since I worked for the company but I started to get def comp checks. I got like a $9 check. What the heck do I claim this under in my tax return. I don't want to get penalized for not claiming this $9 dollar check for a company I no longer work for. I don't know how often ill get these checks but it's free money, i guess.

Did Fry's send you a form for taxes in the mail as well? You should see a form number which will show you what to claim it as... My guesses would be a w-2 or maybe an form 1099-R.. It should state what kind of form it is..I'm guessing most likely a 1099-RHiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don't buy drugs. You didn't get any other forms? If not, wait until someone else here may have done it before, or ask a tax professionalHiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don't buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free!

i got my first one in december. i heard you get them bi-annually and can vary in amount. its cool cause its free money, i guess. i just wish it wasnt taxed cause it means waiting for a W2 plus more paperwork to fill out on your 1040 EVERY YEAR FOR THE NEXT 15(?) YEARS.
