Perhaps you should contact the law firm that's handling the class action against Fry's - http://www.emgelawfirm.com/CM/Custom/Frys-Electronics-Inc-Class-Action.asp

I've represented Fry's a couple times as a Service Manager in a few suits by customers and there's a few we lost.http://www.frysblackfriday.com

A quick search shows that they have been sued for both sexual harassment and wrongful termination - both in the same suite brought on by the EEOC - http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/newsroom/release/9-29-10e.cfm. See also http://www.iexaminer.org/news/unlawful-firing-frys/

If you're going to file a sexual harassment suit, you'll have to have evidence (perhaps a log showing specific dates/times/what was said or done) and witnesses.

I sued Fry's San Marcos store a few years ago and "settled" out of court for a large sum of money. The GM and Computer manager, forgot his name (fat mexican pot smoker, last name starts with a G) were talking shit to me one day, accusing me of stealing (when they lost a check), and just plain being typical Fry's assholes. So, I walked out and sued them the next day with a card I was waiting to play.

Terms of the contract were that I'd never talk about details or work at any Fry's owned store again (Darn.)

If anyone is thinking about suing Fry's I would encourage you to do so, they are easy targets.

Thanks, 15634. I wanted info on former employees the most. I'm glad you had a "card" to play...a lot don't. I would encourage people to keep a journal with dates and facts. Just out of curiosity, did they settle before arbitration?

I called the 800 number above the time clock with my lawyer and presented my case to frys management directly. To my surprise, they transferred me to the VP then their law team presented a offer, which I then countered. Fry's is always in the wrong and they know it. They paid up within a week.

What state and what's the issue? Having an attorney that specializes in the particular area of law that you're taking action against Fried on is necessary.
