    Randy Fry here providing even MORE help with getting you a better job! That's right - all your hard work, dedication, and years experience at my stores are now going to pay off - with a new company and opportunity to push your career in retail forward under better work conditions with happier customers, coworkers and bosses. So here's a listing of several great companies to choose from that scored higher on Glassdoor.com's employee reviews! This list almost included McDonald's, which also ranked higher than Fry's! Holy Shit! But don't worry, I don't want my highly valued associates to take a slight step up by switching to a fast-food chain; you all deserve WAY better:

    its funny how ex-frys employees end up at places like best buy, staples or walmart.

    I know a lot of people who left Frys San Diego and became managers at other places. Sprint, T Mobile, Starbucks, etc...

    Don't limit yourselves (to retail). Be aggressive, and reach for your dreams. You might not be able to do it all at one step, and you may have to make sacrifices or take risks, but make it happen!

    It seems that a lot of our managers/supervisors get a job at Dell.
    Some of these people had been working at Fry's for years.
    Yet it seems like nobody gets a raise.
    Plus if you are a cashier supervisor, they try to promote you to the sales floor.
    So instead of making a salary, you have to sell stuff to make commission, and if you don't you go in the draw and if you draw too much you get fired.

    Very naive of you to say. Some of those companies have excellent insurance and retirement perks, and all of them have room for upward mobility.
