Any store can honestly close at this point, but what's your bet?

Most retail establishments setup the start of their fiscal year on March. Helps them even out the retail sales with slow January/February sales and allows them to clearance old product in February. Too bad the holiday sales couldn't save this store for yet another year.

Any store can close because ultimately I think prohibiting a last minute hail Mary investment from someone who thinks Fry's is saveable I think management is just working to close the entire chain sooner rather than later. i.e. find buyers for the real estate. Hopefully find someone willing to give them a blanket purchase order to take what little inventory is left off of their hands.

The general reaction on social media to their consignment model change has been pretty cold and the few people that have visited Vegas and the stores that are getting "new" inventory haven't been overly impressed so there isn't much reason to believe that they have found a turnaround model.
