Alright well someone will probably ask which location I worked at. It was Concord. I can surely say that this store had issues from the start when I was working there. I noticed bickering between people in the sales departments and the front end of the store and it just didn't help anything. They even had "rules" that they never discussed during the hiring process lol. So if you are in the wrong part of the store you literally would get yelled at and threatened to be fired.

Well good riddance to this place and especially Karvasia however you spell her name. "this is not your walk way" whatever.. I walk all over the place in businesses that I go to now and nobody really seems to care. My father explained to me that this was just another racist bitch with a chip on her shoulder :face-devil-grin: She was pretty ashamed when she had management lecture me right in front of her, and didn't say a word. It's probably because she knew she was in the wrong in the first place.

During my entire stay at Fry's I was depressed and nobody ever noticed luckily. It wasn't the store's fault, I was already depressed before I got hired, during the hiring process, and afterward. I got that all sorted out now though. Luckily. I thought I would have to live with it for the rest of my entire life. It actually didn't help too because there were a few times where I almost literally walked off the job and went home. Though, yes guys I do know that you can do that.

Actually I put in to resign once and they didn't want to let me go. That was nice of them. I mean, over all the above is quite negative but the entire experience working at Fry's as a whole was very positive and I made some friends there. It was for the most part a decent job and I tried to help out as much as I could.

We often did have customers come in every day asking if we were closing the store down because of some empty shelves. Well I haven't been in there for about 1 year now and I would have to say within the past 1 year the shelves probably literally were empty there. :face-angel:

Anyway I hope the best to the management that was working there. Even though there were disagreements and arguments, I would have to say that they were pretty decent people and I think they were good at doing their job.

I worked in the Austin store. If you were there in the final years, the biggest thing was when the store manager got away with bullying a kid into killing himself.

Ms. Meyer was a piece of shit.

We were there at the same time! 2013 - 2019

But I don't know much more. Essentially he had personal life shit and they told him to take it to Jen for time off. She pretty much told him it was his personal life or his job, and it was the last straw.

It was not, because the details were kept quiet by the family.

Holy Shit glad I left around the time Jen was taking over. I was only there from 2009 to 2011. When I started I loved it. 2009 and 2010 things felt good at Fry's. 2011 though you could tell the wheels were starting to wobble. The switch to making the entire floor hourly + commission followed a few months later by restructuring Supervisor to be hourly + commission instead of Salary really effected the mood around the store. I don't it ever recovered from 2011. It was also around that same time that you started to hear things were not so well with some of the vendors. In looking to cut cost I've always felt Fry's did it the wrong way. When you start cutting from the bottom up you're pretty much already dead. The Austin store lost so many Supervisors between 2011 and 2012.
